Conservation works coming to Lord's Bushes, Epping Forest

The City of London's Habitat Restoration Programme starts at Lord's Bushes in mid-August — restoring glades along the Rowan Trail, revealing veteran trees, and creating 50+ new pollards to secure the forest's future.

Expect machinery on site and some initial-looking severe cutting — it's all part of the long-term plan, so please follow signs and stick to trails afterwards.

Feel free to join us for a street briefing on Savill Row at 13:00 on the 14th of June to discuss the issues of ASB in the area. 

The local safer neighbourhood team will be at Savill Row/Mill Lane area on the 02/06/2026 around 16:00 for a street briefing. This is to discuss local concerns and issues in the area and anyone is free to come by and say hello.

Your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be around The Broadway for a Walk, Talk & Do session. A chance for residents to walk with us, chat about local issues/concerns and work together on improvements in the neighbourhood. Everyone is welcome to join, share their ideas, find out what we are doing about certain issues or just have a friendly conversation - come along and say hello!
